CSA project in Vietnam: Capturing the synergies between mitigation, adaptation and food security (GCP/INT/139/EC)

In a bid to sustain agricultural production in the face of climate change the Government of Vietnam through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in collaboration with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations has implemented the Project GCP/INT/139/EC “Climate Smart Agriculture: Capturing the Synergies between Mitigation, Adaptation and Food Security” for which the Northern Mountainous Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute (NOMAFSI) is the country focal institute. The projects has conducted studies to understand priority CSA ptactices in the northwestern Vietnam, their adoption status, and factors influencing their adoption by the local small scale households.
