Review of priority CSA practices in the three Northwestern provinces of Vietnam, Son La, Dien Bien and Yen Bai

In a bid to sustain agricultural production in the face of climate change the Government of Vietnam through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in collaboration with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations has implemented the Project GCP/INT/139/EC “Climate Smart Agriculture: Capturing the Synergies between Mitigation, Adaptation and Food Security”.

Under the framework of this project, an overview of the priority CSA practices in the three targets provinces, including Yen Bai, Dien Bien and Son La in the Northwest of Vietnam, was conducted by NOMAFSI, the project’s national focal point, with inputs and support from FAO/CSA team.
