NOMAFSI (Northern Mountainous Agriculture and Forestry Institute) is an autonomous R&D institute affiliated to VAAS (Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences), mandated to undertake scientific research and technology transfer in agriculture and forestry to serve the agricultural and rural development in the midlands and mountainous regions of North Vietnam. The institute head quater is located in Phu Tho town.
